Maira Stefou was born and lives in Athens, Greece.

She studied at first Interior and Graphic Design, and afterwards she received a BA and a MA with honors in Visual arts from Athens School of Fine Arts (painting, etching, multimedia,video art, digital sound).

She has worked as an interior designer and as a creative art director for advertising and publishing firms, and also as a freelancer in communication design, interior design, illustration, stage design.
